Xiamen promotes foreign trade
Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce said on its website on Aug 15 that it will promote foreign trade through six measures.
First, to enhance policy support, the Xiamen municipal bureau of commerce will thoroughly implement policies regarding promoting the steady growth of foreign trade and make full use of special funds for supporting foreign trade so as to help enterprises expand imports and exports.
Second, to establish a working mechanism for ensuring the steady growth of foreign trade, various departments of the municipal government will work together for a common goal and do on-site investigations of companies. A regular communication mechanism with relevant departments of the port will be established to help the companies coordinate and solve business problems.
Third, to support the development of integrated services companies for foreign trade, policies and measures to support the development of integrated services companies for foreign trade will soon be introduced to bring into play the port’s advantages and further expand the export business of off-site goods.
Fourth, to cultivate new forms of foreign trade, the development of new trading forms such as cross-border online suppliers, aircraft finance leases, testing and maintenance will be accelerated to support companies to coordinate and integrate international and domestic trade.
Fifth, to enhance the level of trade facilitation, the regional clearance model will be improved, the inspection and regulatory approach for import and export commodities at Xiamen Port will be reformed, new methods of clearance inspection will be piloted, and the construction of integrated information platform for customs clearance will be accelerated.
Sixth, to further optimize export tax rebates, the tax department will carry out various rebate policies. Other relevant departments will actively help foreign trade companies standardize operations.
