Enterprises with ECI rapidly emerge in Xiamen
Xiamen had 208 enterprises covering export credit insurance (ECI) in August, which is 10.6 times that of last year. Xiamen’s total export volume with ECI for August was $1.003 billion, an increase of 16.6 percent year-on-year, marking the first time it had reached $1 billion.
There were a total of 1,356 enterprises covering ECI in Xiamen from January to August with a growth of 67.6 percent, and the ECI-covered export volume was $7.6 billion, with a rise of 11.3 percent. In the first eight months of 2014, 152 enterprises in Xiamen got financing of $850 million with ECI warranty.
