Online ticket purchase available for Xiamen-Gulangyu ferry
Tickets for Xiamen-Gulangyu ferry services can be purchased online, starting 19th October. Tourists can buy tickets 15 days in advance through the website, according to reports.
In addition, travel agencies can also purchase tickets 20 days in advance on the website.
Now, tourists who wish to go to Gulangyu from Xiamen Island will have to take the ferry from the International Cruise Terminal in Dongdu to Sanqiutian Wharf, and the ticket price for a round-trip ferry ride will be adjusted to RMB35; tourists can also take a ferry from the International Cruise Terminal in Dongdu to Neicuoao Wharf, and the price of that round-trip ticket will be RMB50.
In addition, tourists can also choose to depart from the Songyu Wharf to Neicuoao Wharf for a round-trip price of RMB30.
Tourists can not change tickets after purchasing online, but they can apply for a refund on the website.
According to reports, children who are below 1.2-meters tall can get free tickets and those who are between 1.2 and 1.5-meters tall can enjoy half-price tickets.
