Fujian cuts oil prices, again
Fujian Price Bureau turned down the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Nov 1.
The maximum retail prices of No.93 and No.97 gasoline now stand at 6.75 yuan and 7.21 yuan per liter, down by 0.2 and 0.21 yuan.
The No.0 diesel is priced at 6.65 yuan per liter at most, which is 0.2 yuan less than before.
The price adjustments came after an announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on Oct 31.
The Commission ordered price cuts in gasoline and diesel by 245 yuan and 235 yuan, respectively.
It is the seventh drop in the prices of petroleum products since July, with both gasoline and diesel sold around 1,300 yuan per ton cheaper than four months ago.
Experts predicted that the downward trend would continue.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
