Oil prices fall in Fujian
The Fujian Price Bureau reduced the retail prices of gasoline and diesel on Jan 12.
Maximum prices of No.93 and No.97 gasoline now stand at 5.91 and 6.31 yuan per liter, down by 0.14 and 0.15 yuan. No.0 diesel is a maximum of 5.53 yuan per liter, 0.2 yuan less than before.
The wholesales prices of No.93, No.97 gasoline and No.0 diesel also declined to 7,536 yuan, 7,981 yuan and 6,125 yuan per ton, said the Bureau.
The price adjustments came after an announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission earlier the same day.
It is the 12th consecutive fall in the price of petroleum products since July last year, with both gasoline and diesel sold for around 2,500 yuan per ton cheaper than six months ago.
Experts predict the downward trend will continue.
