The International Sports Industry Expo of Xiamen and China Mobile E-sports Game Industry Expo of Xiamen are set to take place in the Fujian province city on Dec 8, according to the organizing committees.

With the theme of "industrial integration and innovative development", the expos will highlight the e-sports industry and promote the integration of sports with other related industries.

They will also focus on sports development in Belt and Road countries and regions as well as BRICS countries, and on cross-Straits cooperation in sports industry.

The expos will set up an ASEAN pavilion with about 10 countries from Southeast Asia including Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia showcasing their sports resources.

Besides the main expos, there will be other activities, including summit meetings, forums, and ordering meetings related to sports and e-sports.

Some other supporting activities will be held to attract sports fans and e-sports players from home and abroad to visit the expos, including e-sports competitions, cosplay, and network broadcasts by internet celebrities.

A series of competitions will also be held such as the ISPO Awards, the top prize for sports design, ISPO Textrends, the award for the best functional textiles, and a fitness competition.

The two expos are expected to attract 30,000 attendees with over 30 million people watching online.
