Xiamen eyes world-class panel, module manufacturing base

Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone aims to grow into a world-class panel and module manufacturing base in 2019, local media reported on Feb 26.
As an important manufacturing base of flat panel display (FPD) industry in China, Xiamen enterprises take a lead position in producing flexible OLED screens.
As early as 2016 Tianma Micro Electronics Co, a leading company in global FPD industry, developed the first flexible screen in China and at present, Tianma has mastered the advanced technologies of manufacturing flexible screens.
Xiamen Hongxin Electron-tech Co leads other Chinese suppliers of flexible printed circuit board and its clients include Huawei, OPPO and Lenovo.
Hongchen Technology Co has focused on the research and development of touch panels of cutting-edge silver nano which is a key material for flexible OLED screens.

As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power.
