The 2020 Xiamen Industry Exposition (XMIE) is set to take place at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, East China’s Fujian province, from July 9 to 12, Xiamen Daily reported.

This year’s expo, with an exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, is expected to feature 3,000 standard booths in nine exhibition areas, including exhibition areas for intelligent manufacturing, rubber and plastic products, machine tools, and laser equipment.

The expo will continue focusing on intelligent manufacturing this year and work together with professional cross-Straits institutions and renowned companies to discuss industrial recovery and development in the post-epidemic era.

The main forum for the expo – the Cross-Straits Economic and Trade Forum – will revolve around artificial intelligence and new-type infrastructure.

Other related activities will be held during the four-day event, including the 2020 China Xiamen International Water Expo, the 2020 Xiamen Intelligent Logistics Expo, and the 2020 Xiamen Environmental Protection and Fluid Machinery Expo.

This year’s expo was sponsored by the China Chamber of Commerce for the Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the China Machinery Industry Federation, the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers Association, and the Xiamen-Taiwan Cooperation Promotion Center, and managed by Xiamen ITG MICE Group Co Ltd.

ITG MICE Group said that it will implement strict safety measures in light of the COVID-19 pandemic so that exhibitors can feel at ease.
