Through the establishment of demonstration bases, the commodity market will be promoted to become an important platform for commodity circulation, an important carrier for expanding domestic demand, and an important engine for optimizing supply.
The special actions, which are focused on optimizing the market environment, improving service capabilities, and promoting innovation and integration, include 11 key tasks including the upgrading of market circulation, strengthening public services, exploring the construction of a multi-level comprehensive service system and developing cross-border e-commerce.
The pilot project involves 20 cities, counties, and districts from 16 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions.
Why Xiamen

As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
