Xiamen in Fujian province officially launched a platform recently to relieve companies of the burden of having to apply to benefit from certain supportive policies.

According to a manager from the municipal bureau of industry and information technology, the platform's system compares and analyzes "big data" from enterprises with "big data" from policies to elicit eligible companies.

Eligible companies are no longer required to report any applications for the highly targeted and pragmatic policies.

The platform has launched the first batch of 30 preferential policies for companies, including 25 recognition and reward policies, as well as five funding subsidy policies, involving seven departments including the municipal bureau of commerce, the municipal bureau of industry and information technology, and the municipal bureau of science and technology.

In terms of recognition and reward policies, the system automatically obtains companies' evaluations, recognitions, and approval information, and then contacts them via text message.

In regard to funding subsidy policies, the system automatically selects target companies through departmental data sharing and then contacts the company via text message.
