Xiamen to hold 2022 intl cross-border e-commerce expo

The 2022 China (Xiamen) International Cross-Border E-Commerce Expo will be held at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xiamen, Fujian province from Aug 17 to 19.

The event will be jointly sponsored by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the China Chamber of International Commerce, as well as the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xiamen Committee (CCPIT). 

Over 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms and over 100 domestic and foreign purchasing groups will attend this year's expo, such as Global Fortune 500 companies Xiamen C&D Inc, Xiamen ITG Holding Group, and Xiamen Xiangyu Group.

The over 60,000-square-meter exhibition area will include three sections, which are a cross-border production selection section displaying a slew of products like clothing, sports equipment, furniture, digital home appliances, and hardware, an exhibition section for cross-border platforms and comprehensive service businesses displaying B2B and B2C cross-border e-commerce platforms, overseas e-commerce retailers, and cross-border logistics as well as offering finance, insurance, and law consultations, and an international exhibition section showcasing imported mother and baby products, cosmetics, food and beverages, and consumer electronics.

Featured exhibition areas for BRICS countries, Japan, and Alibaba will be set up to showcase the latest achievement in the cross-border e-commerce sector.

In addition, the expo will include serial events, such as cross-border e-commerce talents selection meetings, and purchasing matchmaking meetings for international business institutions in China and transnational enterprises visiting Xiamen.
