Xiamen holds Time-honored Brand Carnival

Xiamen in Fujian province held a Time-honored Brand Carnival from July 1 to 3, attracting over 40 well-known companies.
The companies showcased characteristic cuisines from southern Fujian province, traditional techniques, and intangible cultural heritage items at the event.
Benefits such as free gifts and discounted products were offered to the public to stimulate people's consumption desires.
The event also included an awards ceremony for the second Xiamen time-honored brand creative design competition.
The competition worked like a platform to bridge the time-honored brand companies with young students to conduct open dialogues, said Li Feng, executive director of Xiamen Century-old Brand Research Institute.
According to Chen Yuejin, deputy director of the Xiamen municipal bureau of commerce, the goal of the Time-honored Brand Carnival was to help time-honored brand companies develop new products, new business models, and new modes in order to fully leverage their brand influence and increase consumption.
