Three Xiamen-based enterprises – Xiamen C&D, ITG Holding, and Xiangyu Group – were listed on the 2022 Fortune Global 500 list, which was released on Aug 3.

Established in 1980, Xiamen C&D became the first enterprise in Xiamen, as well as Fujian province, to crack the top 100, placing 77th with an annual operation revenue of 720 billion yuan ($108 billion).

It has boosted development both in its core sectors such as supply chain operations, urban construction and operations, and tourism and exhibitions, as well as new growth points such as health care and emerging industries.

ITG Holding moved up 65 positions to 106th this year, marking its sixth time to be included on the list. Led by innovation, ITG Holding’s revenue and profit indicators grew steadily. It has developed supply chain, advanced manufacturing, urban construction and operation, consumption and health care, and financial service businesses.

It released the ESG (environmental, social and governance) report on behalf of Xiamen enterprises. The report explores ways to achieve sustainable development.

Established on Nov 28, 1995, Xiangyu Group was ranked 160th, which was 29 positions higher than last year. It covers commodity supply chain, urban development and operation, comprehensive financial services, port and shipping, and innovation and incubation businesses.

Xiangyu Group has doubled its revenue and increased its net profit by 2.2 times and has made the list for five consecutive years. It is also committed to the ESG concept and sustainable development.

The Fortune Global 500 list is an authoritative list to measure large global enterprises. It is published by Fortune magazine once a year and is an important indicator for world-famous enterprises to compare their strength, scale and international competitiveness.
