Xiamen intl expo center opens new exhibition hall
On July 6, Phase 5 of the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center - Exhibition Hall D - officially opened.
Exhibition Hall D covers roughly 30,000 square meters, with a total floor area exceeding 70,000 sq m, exhibition hall area of nearly 15,000 sq m, and conference area of nearly 10,000 sq m.
The hall is an expansion of the exhibition and conference functions of the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. It can accommodate large conferences, exhibitions, banquets, activities, sporting events and performances.
With Exhibition Hall D now open, the total exhibition area at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center exceeds 200,000 sq m.
Phase 5's overall design is simple and modern, with colors and aesthetics harmonizing with the existing convention center to create an economical, practical and aesthetically-pleasing look.
To maximize use of the exhibition hall, hall designers designed it to serve various functions. Conference rooms can flexibly partition into 18 independent conference rooms, complemented by several VIP rooms.
The opening of Exhibition Hall D, along with Exhibition Halls A, B, and C, the Xiamen International Conference Center and the Strait Grand Theater in the same area, contributes to the formation of a core convention, exhibition and entertainment zone unmatched across Xiamen.
