The 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is scheduled to be held from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province.

With the theme "Openness, Integration, Leading Quality Development", the event aims to establish an international investment platform that will promote two-way investment through China's modernization, high-level opening-up, and high-quality integration.

The International Investment Forum, a CIFIT highlight, features a central forum, twin parallel forums, and the Gulangyu Forum. Through seminars, presentations, and interactive sessions, participants will delve into subjects like green development, intelligent manufacturing, and foreign equity investment.

The CIFIT's 120,000-square-meter exhibition space will spotlight investment promotion, industrial innovation, project capital matching, and development. An amalgamation of exhibitions, conferences, and business negotiations will establish a cohesive ecosystem centralized on investment subjects.

This year's CIFIT will emphasize global development and international cooperation by allocating dedicated sections of the event to international investment promotion, and regional and international collaboration. Major discussions will involve foreign investment attraction, global reach strategies, the Belt and Road Initiative, and multilateral and bilateral economic and trade exchanges. Notable activities include the World Business Leaders Roundtable and the RCEP International Cooperation Forum.

Additionally, an allied activity of the event will permit diplomatic envoys to explore Xiamen concurrently.
