23rd CIFIT to enhance three major platform functions
The 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade will run from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province. Since 2018, the fair has been enhancing its professionalism, strengthening the three major platform functions: promotion of two-way investment, discussion of investment trends, and disclosure of authoritative information.
The 23rd CIFIT will be themed "openness and integration, leading high-quality development". It will implement global development initiatives, build an international investment community platform, promote international two-way investments and partner with various countries to share investment opportunities.
This year's fair will showcase cutting-edge technology. Within the 120,000-square-meter exhibition area, there will be professional exhibitions focusing on hot topics such as intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, sustainability, and rural revitalization, demonstrating new "blue oceans" in industries and new tracks in investment.
During the fair, the integration of exhibitions and negotiations will be further deepened by holding more than 30 project docking and negotiation activities, including the Leading China-International Emerging Industries Cooperation Conference.
Moreover, through the Cloud CIFIT app, investment projects will be collected and released, promoting the use of online tools.
The audience at this fair includes representatives from many provincial and municipal governments, banking and investment institutions, and large-scale corporations. This specialized assembly of exhibitors and merchants makes it easier for enterprises to more efficiently and accurately seek the information they require.

Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
