The People's Government of Zhejiang Province recently replied to the People's Government of Fujian Province, agreeing to serve as the guest province for the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), and expressing readiness to closely collaborate with Fujian province to make all the necessary preparations.

According to officials from the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, the CIFIT is one of the most influential international investment events globally, and has evolved into an important public platform for promoting favorable investment opportunities in China and expanding international investment cooperation.

Zhejiang province will make full use of the bi-directional investment promotion platform of the CIFIT to further promote its investment environment, policies, and sectors, creating new opportunities for international cooperation, opening up new frontiers, and supporting the deepening of reforms, expansion of openness, and promotion of high-quality economic development.

In 2023, Zhejiang province significantly increased the quantity and quality of foreign investment and pursued steady and orderly outbound investments, thereby establishing the global "Invest in Zhejiang" initiative. 

Zhejiang province is arranging for 205 investment promotion delegations to attract foreign investment, hosting 413 investment promotion events, and accelerating the formation of high-quality foreign investment clusters. The province has also become a symbol of China's economic resilience and vitality.
