The 5th Event Tech Expo and China Exhibition Cross-border Cooperation and Exchange Summit were held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center from Aug 1 to 2, at which Xiamen's Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry made a significant appearance and achieved fruitful results.

At the expo, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce organized the Xiamen Pavilion, which featured the theme "A City for Experiences, A Destination for Events". 

A total of 21 enterprises including venues, conference and exhibition companies, and high-end brand hotels, with nearly 50 participants, engaged in discussions, negotiations, and exhibition promotion activities. This marks the second consecutive time that the Municipal Bureau of Commerce has organized for Xiamen MICE enterprises to participate in the Event Tech Expo.

The booth integrated the natural beauty and commercial vitality of Xiamen, showcasing the superior natural environment, business environment, and development achievements of the Xiamen MICE industry.

During the exhibition, visitors and representatives from Xiamen enterprises engaged in in-depth discussions, shared industry experiences, and explored future trends in the MICE industry, seeking mutually-beneficial cooperation opportunities.

Xiamen Conference and Exhibition Group, Xiamen Fliport C&E Center and other Xiamen enterprises reached several preliminary cooperation agreements on-site at the exhibition. 

In recent years, the MICE industry in Xiamen has been developing rapidly and has become an important force driving the city's economic growth.
