The National Maritime Silk Road Cross-border E-commerce Industry-Education Integration Community was established at Xiamen City University on Sept 21.

The community was jointly initiated by XMXYG Corporation, Xiamen University, and Xiamen City University and currently consists of more than 50 member institutions, over 100 companies, and multiple industry associations.

The community aims to establish and improve a collaborative network involving government, schools, businesses, and industries, seeking to build a robust mechanism for sharing resources and information. 

Through this collaboration, a platform for employment services will be created, enabling the open sharing of high-quality resources such as enterprise mentor pools, teaching resource repositories, and training bases. The focus is on enhancing students' practical skills and employability, collectively improving the quality of talent development in the field of cross-border e-commerce.

The community will leverage its regional advantages to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, promote economic and trade integration between Fujian and Taiwan, and deepen cooperation between the Maritime Silk Road and cross-border initiatives.
