Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) held a grand ceremony in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, for the delivery of pure electric buses, marking significant progress in new energy cooperation between China and Ethiopia.

The vehicles delivered at this event were jointly delivered to end customers by Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co Ltd and the Ethiopian Belayneh Kinde Group (BKG). This included five Golden Dragon pure electric minibuses and four 12-meter pure electric buses.

The four pure electric buses composed the first batch of vehicles assembled locally in Ethiopia in CKD (Completely Knocked Down) form, marking a milestone in the country's new energy transportation sector.

At the delivery ceremony, Lin Zhenya, deputy director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and representatives from Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus jointly witnessed this important moment.

The Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce has long provided strong policy support and assistance to promote investment and trade between Xiamen enterprises and Africa. With the assistance of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, cooperation between Golden Dragon Bus and the Ethiopian BGI Group in the field of new energy has gradually deepened, expanding the export of Golden Dragon's CKD components and forming a strong strategic partnership.
