At the recent National E-commerce Work Conference in Beijing, the Esteellink.com project, recommended by the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was selected as one of the "national e-commerce technology innovation application cases (industrial e-commerce category)" by the Ministry of Commerce. Two projects from Fujian province were chosen this time around.
Esteellink.com uses digital technology to transform and enhance traditional business operations, reshaping organization and processes to improve efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and promote green and low-carbon development throughout the steel industry.
To promote the digital transformation of the steel supply chain operations, Xiamen C&D Group's subsidiary, C&D Steel and Iron Group, adheres to policy guidelines to facilitate the conversion of commercial technological achievements into enterprise productivity.
They actively deploy and implement the construction of an industrial digital collaborative service platform, as well as independently develop and establish a steel industry supply chain internet platform — Esteellink.com.
Currently, the online transaction contract amount on Esteellink.com has exceeded 160 billion yuan ($21.97 billion), with over 5,700 registered downstream customers, collaborating with more than 800 domestic steel mills and 350 different types of warehouses.
The intelligent logistics function also collaborates with over 390 logistics service providers and is gradually implementing system integration work with core partner steel mills and third-party warehouses.
