During this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Xiamen's cultural tourism and commercial sectors demonstrated vibrant growth.

Data from major travel platforms like Ctrip and Fliggy shows that Xiamen ranked among Fujian province's most popular tourist destinations, with hotel bookings increasing by three percent year-on-year and inbound travel bookings surging by 33 percent compared to last year.

The Dragon Boat Festival holiday coincided with Children's Day this year, making family trips a major driver of Xiamen's cultural and tourism consumption. Zhongshan Road became a bustling hub for family outings, boosting business at nearby restaurants and hotels. Popular attractions like Xiamen Fantawild Adventureland and Xiamen Horticulture Expo Garden also drew large numbers of families, further energizing the local tourism market.

During the holiday, Xiamen came alive with diverse cultural activities across all of its districts, with cultural exhibitions, sports competitions, and traditional folk performances all on offer. The city's major tourist attractions, museums, and characteristic commercial districts all experienced significant surges in visitor numbers.

As a signature showcase of Xiamen's urban development and image, the innovative "cruise + culture" tourism model has emerged as a major attraction, drawing growing numbers of international visitors to experience the city's unique charm.
