The 5th Ukopia Coffee Festival was held in Xiamen's Siming district from June 26 to 29. This year's festival featured a four-day coffee market and two professional competitions, bringing together nearly 100 brands from 40 cities worldwide, including in countries and regions such as Japan, South Korea, and China's Taiwan and Hong Kong. About 70 percent of participating brands made their debut in Xiamen, attracting coffee enthusiasts from across the country.
The marketplace was bustling with vibrant energy, featuring nearly a hundred specialty coffee stalls that created a diverse flavor matrix. According to statistics, the event received a total foot traffic of 120,000 visitors, with topic interactions and views exceeding eight million across multiple platforms.
This year's event also introduced an indoor market for the first time, where 22 domestic and international brands made their debut in pop-up stores. By deftly blending coffee with music, they created a dual feast of "sound and taste".
The coffee festival expanded its event space this year, holding cupping competitions and roasting championships for the first time at the "Amoy's Memory" exhibition hall, Zhongshan Road. The total venue area increased by 1,000 square meters compared to previous editions.
Having been held for five consecutive years, the Ukopia Coffee Festival has attracted approximately 350 brands from over 50 domestic and international cities, establishing itself as an influential coffee market brand in Fujian province and throughout South China.

Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
