Overseas investment cooperation is a key driver of high-level opening up. As one of the three major sections of the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), "China Investment" will feature thematic exhibitions, authoritative releases, and exchange activities.

It aims to showcase China's achievements in overseas investment cooperation, build platforms for communication and alignment, help participants seize investment opportunities, achieve win-win outcomes, and promote international cooperation in industrial and supply chains.

The China Overseas Investment Cooperation Zone consists of two sections — "China Investment" and "China Construction" — inviting representative enterprises engaged in outbound investment and contracted projects to exhibit their achievements in overseas investment cooperation.

The Overseas Services Zone brings together local comprehensive overseas service platforms, professional service institutions such as law firms, as well as chambers (associations) of Chinese enterprises in key host countries. It will host professional seminars on legal risk prevention and compliance management for outbound investment, providing a platform for matchmaking and exchange.

The Special Release Conference on Outbound Investment will be held on the afternoon of Sept 8 in Meeting Room 1B of the Xiamen International Conference Center. Several authoritative reports will be released during the event, including the 2024 Statistical Bulletin of China's Outward Foreign Direct Investment, the 2025 Best Practices of Overseas Chinese Enterprises Chambers (Associations), and the Development Reports (2024–2025) for Chinese Enterprises in Malaysia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Namibia, and Serbia.

Additionally, the Outbound Investment Activity Index of Chinese Enterprises will be unveiled for the first time.
