The list of typical cases for the cultivation of branded container rail-sea intermodal transport routes in 2025 was recently released, with only 10 routes selected nationwide. Among them, the "Nanchang-Xiamen Port" container sea-rail intermodal route, submitted by Xiamen Penavico International Freight and Forwarding Co Ltd, a company in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, was included on the list.

As a critical logistics artery connecting inland regions with coastal hubs, the "Nanchang-Xiamen Port" route has established a highly efficient and coordinated logistics service system through multi-dimensional innovative measures.

The route integrates resources from the Silk Road Maritime's Fujian-Jiangxi sea-rail intermodal platform, coordinating with port and railway authorities from both regions to maximize policy benefits.

It simultaneously streamlines the entire business process and simplifies customs clearance procedures, achieving the convenience of "single declaration, through container transport, and one-time release",  creating an express lane for import and export enterprises to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Leveraging Xiamen Port's role as a core hub of the Belt and Road Initiative, the route has established a seamless logistics network integrating "inland and sea ports".

Outbound trains departing from Nanchang, carrying high-quality "made in Jiangxi" products such as auto parts and sports equipment, reach Xiamen Port within 20 hours and seamlessly connect with international shipping routes for global distribution. Return trips precisely deliver overseas raw materials to industrial zones in inland areas like Nanchang, Fuzhou, and Jiujiang.
