Xiamen selected 64 enterprises for online participation and highlighted seven representative companies through offline exhibitions at the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
These companies spanned key sectors such as air transportation, smart manufacturing, digital technology, biomedicine, language services, and human resources, comprehensively showcasing Xiamen's distinct industrial strengths and innovation capabilities in trade in services.
At this year's CIFTIS, the Xiamen delegation achieved remarkable results through exhibitions, achievement presentations, and interactive events. For example, Xiamen Airlines showcased its brand image and global flight network, highlighting its "My Family" sustainability-themed service IP and diversified offerings in cultural creativity, in-flight catering, and hospitality services.
Xiamen celebrated a breakthrough at the trade in services demonstration case awards, with three of its nominated projects garnering honors, including Huaqiao University's National Language Service Export Base.
Interactive elements at the offline booth, including a "check-in and win gifts" initiative, heightened audience engagement and spread awareness of Xiamen's corporate brands and culture.
The Xiamen delegation showcased two defining features: tech-driven innovation and cross-sector integration. From brain-computer interfaces and intelligent robots to AI-based power management and smart language platforms, innovation permeated every display.
This was complemented by a synergistic ecosystem, evident in aviation services blending with culture, and traditional Chinese medicine going global — all illustrating how different sectors converge to drive mutual growth.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
