The Metaverse Online Exhibition Hall for the 2026 Global Ocean City Food Expo was launched on Dec 17, enabling users to explore exhibits, connect with partners, and conduct online negotiations.

While the expo's offline exhibition will be held from March 29 to 31 at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, its online Metaverse counterpart will operate year-round, providing a 24/7 service platform for the global marine food industry.

The expo focuses on the entire marine food industry chain, covering cold-chain logistics for pre-made meals, marine functional foods, traditional food ingredients, and fishery equipment. Through this platform, global innovations and quality achievements in marine food will be collectively showcased in Xiamen.

The expo will host nearly 100 leading food industry enterprises for exhibition and procurement. Industry associations from Fujian and Xiamen, along with overseas liaison agencies, are set to bring approximately 200 professional buyers and 50 overseas procurement delegations to facilitate efficient matchmaking across the marine industry.

In addition, the New Year Shopping Festival will be held concurrently in popular commercial districts in Xiamen and Beijing.
