The Xiamen Chamber of International Commerce convened the fourth session of its fifth council alongside the "AI Empowerment for Global Expansion" brand event on Feb 5, bringing together over 300 enterprises to exchange insights on topics such as AI-driven cross-border expansion and global market access.

Over the past year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xiamen Committee and the Xiamen Chamber of International Commerce have made significant progress in advancing chamber affairs and supporting enterprise development.

They hosted 113 inbound foreign trade and economic delegations involving 463 participants, appointed 15 new overseas friendly trade institutions and 11 economic and trade cooperation consultants from 11 countries, and facilitated the participation of 820 enterprises in 78 domestic and international exhibitions with a total of 1,050 booths — record highs in both exhibitor and booth numbers.

At the council meeting, eight core service functions were officially unveiled, covering key areas such as international liaison, overseas exhibition participation, and brand promotion. The initiative aims to support the international development of enterprises and precisely address business needs.

The Chamber's forward-looking annual brand event was held concurrently, gathering experts in AI investment, technology application, market development, and platform services to discuss how enterprises can harness AI and cross-border ecosystem integration. The session delivered practical solutions for foreign trade firms, including AI-powered tools for online retail and strategies to accelerate business expansion in overseas markets.
