Xiamen, a nationwide pilot city for prize-inclusive invoices, has launched a major invoice lottery campaign for the Spring Festival holiday, covering eight major consumer sectors, including retail, catering, accommodation, cultural tourism, and sports.

Individual consumers who issue digital electronic invoices of 100 yuan ($14.50) or more can participate in the lottery after verification through UnionPay, with prizes ranging from 30 to 800 yuan. The campaign has ignited widespread enthusiasm for invoice issuance since its launch.

Building on this foundation, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce has introduced an innovative approach to the invoice lottery campaign, with over 400 merchants offering additional promotions on top of redeemable vouchers, further amplifying benefits for the public.

What can a single ticket stub do? This Spring Festival, Xiamen has also introduced an innovative "ticket-based economy" initiative, transforming transportation, performance, movie, and event tickets into "consumption passes" that unlock perks across multiple scenarios.

Nearly 300 merchants in Xiamen are participating in this ticket stub discount initiative, allowing visitors holding flight, train, or ferry tickets to Xiamen to enjoy discounts on scenic spot admission, hotel accommodation, and instant shopping in commercial districts. Tickets for concerts, exhibitions, sporting events, and movies can also unlock various benefits across dining, retail, cultural, and entertainment sectors.
