Coffee aroma fills Xiamen as Kaffa Future expands at rapid clip
As a key investment promotion project of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Kaffa Future has accelerated the deployment of its self-service fresh-ground coffee machines in Xiamen. Through intelligent terminals embedded into convenient service settings, the company is helping Xiamen build a more diverse and context-rich coffee industry.
To date, Kaffa has deployed over 100 self-service coffee machines across the port city. They have been installed in public spaces ranging from scenic trails to government service centers — catering to a wide array of settings such as leisure walkways, administrative offices, and public facilities.

The self-service coffee machines use Arabica beans, New Zealand milk, and a master-blend recipe. Drawing on 60-second fresh-grind extraction technology and a contactless smart ordering system, they deliver a high-quality, convenient, and efficient coffee experience for residents, visitors, and office workers alike.
This year, Kaffa plans to roll out over 800 smart coffee terminals across Xiamen, with projected revenue exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.45 million). The deployment will focus on high-traffic public spaces such as parks, hospitals, and the airport, aiming to create a "15-minute coffee convenience circle" that makes fresh-ground coffee an everyday companion within easy reach for residents.

Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
