The 139th edition of the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5. Xiamen has arranged for 612 companies to participate in this year's fair, with a total of 1,838 exhibition booths, including 374 brand booths and 1,464 standard booths.
The participating companies span 50 exhibition sections, including electronics and electrical appliances, engineering machinery, and household appliances.
With a strong industrial base built over the years, Xiamen's traditional trade sectors are set to shine at the Canton Fair. In textiles, apparel, footwear, and bags, around 100 companies — including Xiamen ITG and Xiamen Kingland Co Ltd — will showcase their products. Known for their supply chain expertise and quality control, Xiamen's exporters have long served as suppliers for major global markets.
Strong delegations will also be present in household appliances, kitchenware, and home goods, including companies like OGAWA and Xiamen C&D Aluminum. Auto parts, hardware, and engineering machinery are likewise well represented, featuring exhibitors such as Wild Land and Sanyang Motor.
More Xiamen companies are adding value through innovation in technology, processes, and design, making emerging industries a highlight of the city's trade delegation.
New energy companies like Xiamen Kseng Metal Technology Co Ltd will also make an appearance at the fair. In electronics, consumer electronics, and information products, 23 companies, including EVADA, will participate. Meanwhile, industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing will be represented by companies such as Xiamen Peaks Electric Co Ltd.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
