The 2026 Xiamen Industry Exposition and the 30th Cross-Strait Machinery and Electronics Fair were held at the Xiamen International Expo Center from April 9 to 12.

The expo brought together 716 companies focusing on smart manufacturing, green energy, industrial digitalization, and embodied AI. It aimed to strengthen cross-Strait collaboration in technology, systems, and supply chains, as well as drive high-quality industrial growth.

During the exhibition, a total of 371 trade associations and 3,822 enterprises participated in procurement activities, with over 100,000 professional visitors in attendance.

This year's exhibition featured dedicated demonstration zones for cross-Strait industrial integration and a Taiwan pavilion, attracting well-known Taiwanese companies such as KSS and Chmer.

The exhibitors showcased their latest offerings in precision machinery, electronics and electrical equipment, and industrial supporting fields. Companies from both sides engaged in face-to-face exchanges to further explore technological collaboration and jointly expand markets.

The expo also held several high-level forums on embodied AI and industrial internet, bringing together cross-Strait experts and companies. It also built a global supply-demand matching system for emerging markets. Events like the "Fujian Green and Low-Carbon and New Energy Parts Procurement Meeting" helped boost production-sales coordination and international cooperation.

This year's expo also attracted many Taiwan companies. KSS, a leading wiring equipment firm from Taipei, showcased its latest products and sought deeper cooperation with mainland manufacturers.

Amid the current industrial climate, more Taiwan businesses are optimistic about the mainland market and plan to expand cooperation with mainland partners.
