A total of 1,500 vehicles of Dongfeng Automobile Co Ltd were loaded onto the ro-ro (roll-on/roll-off) vessel ANJI PROSPERITY at Xiamen Modern Terminal on April 26, bound for Italy. 

This shipment marks Dongfeng's first large-scale batch export from Xiamen Port and officially launches an integrated "manufacturing + supply chain + shipping + port" model for coordinated overseas expansion.

The export was made possible by the collaboration of Dongfeng Automobile, a supply chain service provider, a domestic ro-ro carrier, and a professional terminal. Together, they created an integrated service ecosystem covering the entire process from production to overseas delivery.

As Xiamen Port's dedicated ro-ro vehicle export terminal, Modern Terminal served as the core platform for this four‑party collaboration. This "logistics‑trade synergy" model strengthened Xiamen's role as an auto export hub, encouraging more ro-ro routes, automakers, and shipping lines to call regularly at the port.

For Dongfeng Automobile, a top Chinese automaker, this large scale export to Europe has laid a solid foundation for expanding into global markets with higher volumes and even more models.
