The first promotional event for the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) was held in Beijing on May 13, serving as the first stop of the fair's annual city roadshow series.

The event officially kicked off the global investment promotion campaign for this year's CIFIT. Representatives from Finland, the guest country of honor, and Guangdong province, the guest province of honor, delivered investment presentations at the event.

Starting from Beijing, this year's CIFIT roadshow will travel through Guangdong, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Macao, before drawing to a close in Xiamen this September.

Leveraging Beijing's role as an international exchange hub, the event focused on two-way investment, industrial synergy, and global mutual benefit. It brought together over 260 representatives from embassies, overseas institutions, international organizations, state-owned enterprises, foreign-invested companies, and financial institutions to witness the launch of this new global investment gathering.

The 25th CIFIT drew over 80,000 participants from 123 countries and regions across 120,000 square meters of exhibition space, with more than 1,000 investment projects secured.

For the first time, the 26th CIFIT will take place at the Xiamen International Expo Center, boasting a record-breaking 200,000-square-meter exhibition floor — a major upgrade in both scale and functionality.

Centered on the three key themes of "Invest in China", "Chinese Investment", and "International Investment", this year's CIFIT will track cutting-edge global investment trends and feature a coordinated series of exhibitions and investment promotion events.
