Xiamen opens Fujian's first direct all-cargo route to Thailand

A full-cargo flight carrying 18 metric tons of electronics and machinery took off from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport for Bangkok on July 23. The service, flight SC2467, is Fujian's first direct scheduled all-cargo route to Thailand.
The route is operated by Shandong Airlines using dedicated cargo aircraft, with two roundtrips per week — outbound on Mondays and Thursdays, and return on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Outbound shipments mainly consist of machinery, electronics, and daily necessities, while imports are dominated by fresh fruits such as durians from Southeast Asia. Each flight handles an average of about 30 tons of import and export cargo.

With the launch of the Xiamen–Bangkok all-cargo route, Xiamen Airport now operates 17 scheduled freighter services.
Among them, six serve Southeast Asian destinations, accounting for 35.3 percent of the total, and eight offer direct connections to Belt and Road partner countries, including Luxembourg, Thailand, and Vietnam, representing 47.1 percent of all routes.
